This blog has been written to explain the process of creating your own Facebook frames and Snapchat Geofilters.
How to create Facebook Frames?
Follow the simple steps stated below to create your very own Facebook frame for personal or business use:
Step 1:
Click here or on the image below to reach the Facebook Frame Studios page. Click on “Create a Frame”
Step 2:
Drag and drop the PNGs you want to add to the frame.
For example, below are the PNG images that I used for my Facebook frame as I had to create a Halloween theme for Casa Loma.
Step 3:
Enter the details like the name of the filter, specify the location of its availability, adjust the radius, schedule the date and time of the filter and add relevant keywords.
Step 4:
Review your work and preview the frame on your mobile device. You will get a notification on your Facebook app if you have it installed on your phone. Make sure you’re logged in from the same account on your mobile phone, as on the system you’re creating the frames on.
(I made the frame specifically for mobile users, hence the landscape mode is not optimized)
Step 5:
Try it out on your phone. Open the Facebook camera and get clicking.

How to create Snapchat Filters?
Step 1:
Create your own PNG frame by using Adobe Photoshop or other online photo editors. I used Pixlr to create mine. Create it in the size 1080X2340 and make sure to save it in PNG format.
Step 2:
Click here or on the image below to get to ‘Create Your Own | Snapchat Filter’ page.
Upload the PNG image that you’d created earlier.
Step 3:
Choose the Date and Time when you would like your filter to be available for use.
I chose 31st October 2018 because this filter has been created specifically for a Halloween event.
Step 4:
Select the Location where you want your filter to be available.
For example, I chose the region around Casa Loma for the usage of my filter, because I am creating it for Casa Loma’s Halloween event.
Step 5:
Checkout by paying for the filter.
Now that you know how to design your own Facebook frames and Snapchat filters, create yours and share them in the Comments section.
